“Tastes exactly like the chaat stalls back home. The pani puri water is properly tangy, not watered down.”
Our Story
Street-Cart Roots, Crawley Home
Chaat was never meant to be fussy. It's the food of busy junctions and evening markets — eaten standing up, off a scrap of paper, gone in four bites. That's the experience we've tried to bring to Crawley.
Chatori Chaat House started from a simple frustration: proper chaat — the kind with fresh, crunchy puris, tamarind that actually bites back, and chutneys made that morning — was nearly impossible to find on this side of the country. So we started making it ourselves, the way it's made on the streets of India: fast, fresh, and completely unpretentious.
Every batch of puris is fried in-house, every chutney is made from scratch, and nothing sits around waiting for an order. If it's on the counter, it was made today.
